Shining a Light on Light Pollution

Since the official launch of LES technology, our team has been conducting a study on how we can reduce "Light Pollution" with non-invasive ambient lighting.

Today we are excited to share that our research on “Light Pollution” has been officially published by SG Green magazine.

As climate change accelerates, the design, construction, and operation of sustainable buildings are getting more attention. The 10th issue of SG Green magazine features green building solutions in SGBC sustainable journey. Since the official launch of LES technology, our team has been researching how we can find ways to control Light Pollution with non-invasive ambient lighting. The disappearance of the night sky has an adverse impact on human relationships with the natural world. What is more, the excessive use of artificial lighting affects human health and ecosystems. Today light pollution is one of the most overlooked global problems. However, light pollution is not as damaging as a chemical spill; it is essential to re-consider the lighting practices with no loss to anyone. With no glare and heat produced, our mission is to rediscover the night sky with LES lighting in creating LES bright future. Together with our partners, we will continue our research on implementing environmentally friendly light systems.

The online version of the magazine can be found here:

We want to thank Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) for working together with LES team on creating awareness on Light Pollution.
